Mark Forlenza of Franklin (Sussex County) was allegedly selling drugs out of his home, police said.
FRANKLIN -- A borough man is facing drug charges after police say he was selling heroin and other drugs from his residence.
Several complaints of drug distribution on Cummins Street near High Street and Buckwheat Road -- in the area of Franklin Elementary School -- prompted borough officers to investigate, Franklin police said in a news release.
Based on the investigation, police said Mark D. Forlenza, 46, of Franklin, was regularly selling heroin, methadone and Suboxone from his home.
Forlenza was arrested on Tuesday and charged with multiple counts of possession of heroin and distribution of heroin, as well as possession and distribution of Suboxone and methadone, police said. Forlenza's also accused of selling drugs in a school zone.
Police said a large amount of heroin, methadone and Suboxone were found in Forlenza's house when officers executed a search warrant of the premises. The drugs, police said, were all packaged and ready for sale in his residence.
An undisclosed amount of currency was also found in his house which is believed to be proceeds from drug sales, police said.
Forlenza was lodged in Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and more arrests may follow.
