HARDYSTON -- A township woman who went missing Friday morning was located after a search by several agencies, police said.
The 80-year-old woman was reported missing at 4:43 a.m. from a residence in the Lake Stockholm section of the township, police said in a news release. It was believed she wandered away from the residence and had not returned home.
The woman was located near a neighbor's residence after a search was conducted by township police, Hardyston Fire Department Search and Rescue, Sparta First Aid Squad and the State Police.

The woman had fallen outside close to her residence but she did not sustain any injuries in the fall, Hardyston police Lt. Robert J. Zicarelli said.
"The search was necessary due to the hour of her missing, her age and her lack of transportation to get anywhere," Zicarelli said. "Because of these factors we believed she had wandered into the woods."
She was taken to Chilton Hospital to be treated for hypothermia, police said.
