The Helping Horseshoe Therapeutic Riding Club in partnership with Equine Tranquility Wellness Center is seeking new volunteers for its equine assisted activities (EAAT).

Come meet the horses and enjoy the farm. Talk with the trainers, volunteers and staff. Take a walk on the sensory trail. Great opportunity to learn about the programs offered to individuals of all ages and abilities; such as horseback riding lessons, diversion programs, summer day programs, work study programs and community service hours.
Volunteers are needed to lead and sidewalk, help with the stable, grounds, fundraising, and office work. Volunteer training is held the second Saturday of the month from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p. m. The next three dates are April 8, May 13 and June 10.
Potential volunteers who are unable the weekend training can schedule a private session.
Spring Recreational Therapeutic Horseback Riding lessons for individuals with special needs begin on March 21. Classes are held on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Group and private lessons available to individuals of all ages and abilities.
Instructors are Path certified. The emphasis on safe, fun and progressive lessons. Horses teach humans new skills, assist with physical, cognitive and emotional development, help them make new friends and allow them to be part of a team.
