Darryl Farrier of Franklin was charged Monday with child endangerment and possession of child pornography following an investigation by local and county authorities in Sussex County.
Farrier used various social media apps -- such as Whisper, Kik and Meet Me -- to meet underage girls, according to a statement from the Sussex County Prosecutor's Office.
He used the screen names "Doug," "Hangten0, "Pallyi_Possum," "Dmann4789" or "Dmann347," the statement said.
A call placed to Farrier was not immediately returned.
He is affiliated with the Freedom Church in Oak Ridge. No one answered the phone at the church Monday evening.
Authorities urged anyone with information about these incidents or others to contact the Sussex County Prosecutor's Office High Tech Crimes Unit at 973-383-1570.
