Daniel Brice, 61, died at the scene of the crash, which occurred near Dover-Chester Road
A Hackettstown man has been identified as the driver killed Monday in a two-car crash on Route 10 in Randolph Township.
Daniel Brice, 61, died at the scene of the crash, which occurred near Dover-Chester Road, police Lt. Christopher Giuliani said in a statement.
Police found the driver of the other car, a 70-year-old Stanhope man, outside of his vehicle - which was sinking in a pond in front of an office building. He was not seriously hurt.
Brice was travelling with his wife when the accident occurred at about 5:25 p.m., police said. She was taken by helicopter in fair condition to Morristown Medical Center.
The Brice vehicle collided with the other car, which ended up submerged in a drainage basin in front of an office building at 715 Route 10, police said.
A cause for the accident was not given and police continue to investigate.
Anyone with information is asked to call Randolph police at 973-989-7010.
