Stabbing reported Friday
FRANKLIN -- A 35-year-old woman is accused of attacking a man with a glass bottle, leaving him seriously injured, borough police said Saturday.
Jessica Sartor was charged with aggravated assault and weapons possession for the stabbing Friday, according to a police news release.
Officers responded to reports of a stabbing on Mabie Street and found the man suffering from puncture and slash wounds, police said. He was treated at Newton Medical Center for non life-threatening injuries.
Sartor was later released from custody ahead of an appearance in Sussex County Superior Court, police said. The investigation was ongoing.
