FRANKFORD -- State Police with Sussex barracks are asking for the public's help in identifying the man they say was responsible for a series of commercial burglaries in Frankford and Branchville.
The burglaries occurred between midnight and 1 a.m. on July 5 during which the suspect burglarized a shed behind the Frankford Car Wash and stole several items, State Police said in a Facebook post.
The suspect then burglarized the American Legion in Branchville, causing damage to exterior doors and windows and interior doors and windows. Detectives are investigating whether or not anything was stolen, State Police said.
The suspect was described as 6 foot in height, thin build, wearing a black T-shirt with a Levis insignia, tan/white shorts and white sneakers. He was captured by video surveillance driving a black Subaru sedan.
