The suspect, who entered and exited the Valero station on foot, robbed $500 in cash, police said
NETCONG -- Netcong police are looking for a suspect who was involved in an armed robbery at a gas station on June 26.
The incident occurred at 3:38 a.m. at the Valero station located at the junction of Routes 46 and 183, police said.
The suspect entered by foot from Route 46, pointed a gun at an employee, robbed $500 in cash and fled the scene on foot back onto Route 46 east, police said.
The man was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, dark-colored shoes, a black mask and glasses, according to police.
Netcong police said they collected video surveillance footage from the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Netcong police at 973-347-7700.
