The mud bog attraction offered a respite from the heat on the final steamy day of the fair
AUGUSTA -- The mud was flying Sunday at the New Jersey State Fair Sussex County Farm and Horse Show.
The mud bog attraction offered a respite from the heat, particularly for those who needed to be hosed off by the fire department after slogging through the muddy ditch.
While most used Jeeps and four-wheel drive vehicles in the attempts to cross the bog, there was also a foot race with a top prize of $100.
Sunday was the final day of the event.
