Officers were treated for cuts and bruises.
FRANKLIN -- A 38-year-old borough woman was arrested Wednesday after police were called to her home on a report of a dispute, spokesman Det. Nevin Mattessich said in a statement.
Stacey Aho appeared to be intoxicated when police arrived and became disorderly as officers were investigating the situation, Mattessich said.
When she began swearing, making threats and swinging her arms, officers attempted to arrest her but she became physically violent, striking two officers and kicking another in the stomach, Mattessich said. Officers Daniel Flora and David Macquesten were treated at a hospital for bruises and cuts.
Aho was charged with three counts of aggravated assault on a police officer, two counts of resisting arrest and one count of disorderly conduct. She was also taken to a hospital.
She is scheduled to appear in Sussex County Superior Court.
