WANTAGE -- A man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly entered High Point Regional High School and told police he had a bomb in his car, New Jersey Herald reported.
State Police were called to the school shortly after 1 p.m. on a report of a suspicious person, the newspaper reported. The man, who appeared incoherent, initially said he wanted to speak with someone about his child, but began making suspicious references regarding the safety of the school, according to the newspaper.
The man allegedly told State Police he had a bomb in his car but investigators determined that was false, the report said.
