A vehicle operated by an 83-year-old woman reportedly veered into the wrong lane, striking the 57-year-old man's vehicle head-on.
JEFFERSON -- A township man was killed Friday in a head-on motor vehicle crash on Berkshire Valley Road, the Daily Record reported.
Christopher Connelly, 57, of Jefferson, was traveling west on Berkshire Valley Road shortly before 5 p.m. when his vehicle was struck near Legion Road by an eastbound vehicle, operated by Kathleen Mitchell, 83, of Stockholm, that veered into Connelly's lane, the newspaper reported.
Connelly was taken to Saint Clare's Hospital in Dover where he was pronounced dead, according to the report. Mitchell was taken to Chilton Medical Center for injuries as well, the newspaper reported.
No charges have yet been filed pending the outcome of the investigation, the newspaper reported.
